Burglary and vehicle crime are both down in Warwickshire according to new figures from the police.
There were 27 per cent fewer break ins at homes in the county between the start of April and the end of September.
Vehicle crime fell by 12.5 per cent in the same period.
Deputy Chief Constable Andy Parker said: "These mid year figures are very encouraging. Protecting communities from harm is a joint effort and we have a very productive working relationship with our partners and the public, which has enabled us to achieve these promising results. Every crime is one too many but together we are making a significant difference to better protecting people in Warwickshire. We will continue to build on these successes during the next six months.€
