The RSPB are holding a special Family Fun Day at Coombe Country Park near Coventry on Saturday 27th January between 11am and 4pm to encourage people to take part. Experts will be on hand to help with bird identification in the viewing hide plus there’ll be opportunities to build nest boxes, make pine cone feeders to attract birds to your garden and take part in a ranger led guided walk.
To take part, simply spend one hour over the weekend of 27/28 January counting the birds you see, recording the highest of each bird species seen at any one time.
